Objective
Test if knowledge, software and data schemes and databases could be re-used between regional organizations such as AgGateway, AgroXML, AgroEDI, AgroConnect, etc.
Interoperability depends on the use of identical semantics, methodology and technics.
In the Netherlands the agri branche has developed a guide for message development for agriculture and horticulture. Basic principles are the commitment towards international standards, methodology and semantics as used by UNCEFACT, GS1 and ISO, and the use of preferred "standard" tools for message development. Special attention is given to the quality aspects of messages and standards, using the BOMOS approach.
All these aspacts will be discussed in this sesion.
